High-protein, Uniform Ingredient Profile Helps BiovaFlex Deliver Fast Five-day Joint Health Results, With a Variety of Delivery Options
When it comes to specifying ingredients for natural products, it’s not uncommon for formulators to want both consistency and variety.
“Of course consumer product developers want rock solid science and uniform ingredient specs,” said Kathy Hockla, channel manager for Biova. “That said, they’re often inquiring about our water soluble egg membrane (WSEM) ingredients because they’re new, different. According to a recent randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover research study, a daily 450 mg dose of BiovaFlex was associated with improved joint range of motion (ROM) in the neck, back, hips, shoulders, knees and other joint areas often afflicted with soreness as the body ages. Study participants also reported increased activity levels and energy. And subgroup analysis showed reduction of back pain—as one might experience from exercise and/or daily activity—after just five days.1
The article, “Support of Joint Function, Range of Motion, and Physical Activity Levels by Consumption of a Water-Soluble Egg Membrane Hydrolyzate,” is based on the study conducted by NIS Labs, Klamath Falls, OR, and published in the September 2015 Journal of Medicinal Food.
