Brian Z. Li, president and CEO of New York-based Allegiant Health, recently received the prestigious Long Island Business News Top CEO Award at the organization’s awards dinner held at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY. Li received the Top CEO in recognition of his visionary leadership and business acumen as founder of Long Island’s fastest growing over-the-counter pharmaceutical and dietary supplement manufacturer and distributor.
Allegiant Health has more than 130 employees and produces and packages more than 2.4 billion tablets and capsules a year. Operating from two different two facilities on Long Island, Allegiant Health also offers private labeling, manufacturing and packaging for many top brands. Additionally, the company has recently become an authorized distributor for the Chinese online market.
“Long Island is a strong market and it is clear that the region is full of talented business leaders. Being recognized alongside gifted and respected Long Island CEOs is humbling as well as motivational,” said Li. “Building a business requires focus, determination and creativity. At Allegiant Health, my team and I are developing products that are impacting the lives of millions of people here in the United States and eventually many more around the globe. This recognition demonstrates that we are headed in the right direction.”
Li was one of a select group of business executives and not-for-profit leaders honored with the Top CEO Award. Recipients were selected based on their business leadership skills, success, integrity, innovation, business vision, commitment to excellence, financial performance and community service.
