(Tel Aviv, Israel), a company with a patented process for converting oil-based ingredients into water-soluble powders, announced the appointment of Doron Safrai, former CEO of Algatech. The former CEO, Nir llani, will remain on the board of Capsoil Foodtech. Safrai joins Capsoil Foodtech as the company is weeks away from opening their first U.S.-based manufacturing site in Winter Garden, FL, in addition to the already operational facility in Israel.
In his new role as CEO, Safrai will assume day-to-day leadership of the company and work to scale operations in both the food and beverage and nutraceutical divisions, capitalize on health and wellness trends in the U.S., and lead the next stage of company growth. Safrai will ensure Capsoil Foodtech clients across the food and beverage, dietary supplements and functional nutrition markets are provided with tailor-made solutions to meet their product development needs as consumer demand for these products continues to grow.
