Eurofins (Madison, WI) Supplement Testing and Eurofins Assurance have launched the Clean Sport Certified, a product certification program. This product certification was developed to safeguard the quality of sports supplements, ingredients, and foods and the program will be carried out in partnership with the TruShield Certified, the premier certification for athletes, teams, leagues, consumers, coaches, and dietitians seeking clean, rigorously tested finished products.

Through this program, Eurofins Supplement Testing expands its banned substances screening to include more than 400 compounds prohibited in sport, aligning with the requirements of athletic organizations and retailer verification programs. The Clean Sport Certified program is designed to help mitigate risks related to adulteration, contamination and other quality concerns, especially those associated with products intended for athletes including, but not limited to, those governed by World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)-aligned organizations.

According to the company, clients will benefit from coordinated support across both Eurofins entities, with impartiality, confidentiality, and integrity maintained throughout the certification process. Upon certification, customers are eligible to use the Clean Sport and TruShield certification mark on product labels and marketing materials to showcase their achievement.
