The NIE New Ingredient Awards will highlight the most cutting-edge and advanced natural branded nutritional ingredients backed by science, launched after Oct. 1, 2024 for use in supplements, functional foods and beverages in the United States.

For the established ingredient with new science category, the ingredient must have been launched prior to October 1, 2024. The “new science” must have been announced to the U.S. natural products industry after October 1, 2024.

There will be a total of eight first place and eight second place awards given, in each of these categories:

Healthy Aging, Sports Nutrition, Weight Maintenance, Condition Specific, Excipients/Non-actives/Delivery Systems, Personal Care/Cosmetic, Biotics, Established Ingredients With New Science (One category per ingredient).

Please submit your application by Friday, July 10, 2026 to be considered. Winners will be notified in August.
