by Shari Barbanel | January 27, 2021

Mumbai-based Nutrify India has announced it will launch its international broadcast channel, Nutrify Today, on Feb. 5. This platform will feature broadcast content relevant to the nutraceutical industry. It will also provide an opportunity for a wide range of industry experts to showcase their scientific and development, innovation, and marketing prowess.

The channel will offer industry specific talk shows, educational videos on ingredients used in nutraceuticals, regulatory aspects, financial requirements, formulations and business venture opportunities. The media platform will also contain an archive of various companies along with educational material that can be accessed in a video format. Because of its global outreach, the platform will feature numerous international hosts and guests.

“Nutrify India is committed toward its progression of contributions to the nutraceutical industry keeping in line with its objective of empowering responsible nutrition business,” said Amit Shrivastava, Nutrify India founder and chief catalyst.

Nutrify India, through this network plans to empower responsible nutrition by enabling specialized access to start-ups, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises, thus helping them in gaining market access, financing options and overall knowledge of the sector.

“A good example is global companies who want to enter the U.S. nutraceutical market and are not fully aware of regulatory issues, product distribution and marketing communications strategies,” said Shrivastava. The U.S. is an entirely different marketplace.”

Globally, the nutraceutical industry is estimated to grow at a CAGR of 8 percent in five years and is expected to generate revenues up to $611 billion (U.S.) by 2025. The market predominantly consists of vitamin and minerals health supplements, pediatric products, and protein supplements. Among these vitamin and minerals supplement dominates around 13 percent of the total market share.

“With the nutraceutical start-up culture advancing at a fast pace, the next wave of skyrocketing business growth will be sought after mostly by start-ups and small to mid-sized companies,” said Shrivastava.
