Euromed (Spain) has received the EcoVadis Platinum Medal, placing the company among the top 1 percent of more than 100,000 companies assessed globally by EcoVadis across key ESG criteria related to environment, ethics, labor and human rights, as well as sustainability.
The EcoVadis medal recognizes companies with comprehensive sustainability management systems and a strong track record across all four EcoVadis categories: Environment, Ethics, Labor & Human Rights and Sustainable Procurement. The reaccreditation of this award represents another milestone in Euromed’s mission to promote sustainable practices and reinforces its long-standing commitment to sustainability, ethical practices and responsible sourcing, according to the company.
“At Euromed, sustainability is a core value that guides every aspect of our operations and strategy. As producers of natural botanical extracts, we understand the importance of protecting the ecosystems on which we depend,” said Edgar Rojas, Euromed’s chief financial officer. “Through our Beyond Net-Zero strategy, we continue working towards a long-term positive impact for our planet, our people and future generations. Receiving the EcoVadis Platinum Medal again is a powerful acknowledgment of our approach and reflects the collective effort of our team, customers, suppliers and local stakeholders.”
