Greenvit Introduces Novel PureGreen Eco-friendly Processing Technology

by Shari Barbanel | January 22, 2025

greenvit_logoAs part of its official launch to the North American dietary supplement and functional beverage/food marketplace, Greenvit (Poland) has introduced its novel environmentally conscious Pure Green extraction technology.

According to Greenvit CEO Rafal Pietruszynski, Pure Green is a next-generation extraction process that provides both customers and their consumers with five key benefits:

  1. Reduced Energy Consumption: The extraction process consumes less energy compared to conventional methods, contributing to a smaller carbon footprint and lowering operational costs.
  2. Sustainability: By utilizing purified water as solvent and cold-extraction method, Pure Green technology reduces the environmental impact of the extraction process, aligning with global sustainability goals.
  3. Increased Efficiency: The innovative techniques employed in Pure Green technology lead to higher yield rates, allowing for more effective extraction processes and reduced waste.
  4. Increased Potency: The technology preserves the natural compounds of the plant materials, ensuring that the extracts maintain their full potency and nutritional value.
  5. Healthier Products: The absence of harmful chemicals and additives in the extraction process results in cleaner, safer products for consumers, making them ideal for the food, beverage, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.

PureGreen is a clean, simplified technology that relies on nature’s most abundant resource: water, according to the company. Frozen berries are blended with purified water to obtain an extract that is separated from pulp through centrifugal force—the pulp is upcycled, not wasted. The resulting juice is then processed utilizingmicrofiltration and ultrafiltration membranes, ensuring the actives are intact.

And, Pietruszynski noted, the PureGreen process is powered by photovoltaic energy, ensuring a minimal carbon footprint.

“The expectation by consumers that their supplements are clean, sustainable and traceable is now a given, and this has encouraged our team to develop Pure Green extraction,” Pietruszynski commented. “By prioritizing both quality and sustainability, PureGreen technology positions Greenvit as a leader in the natural extracts market, catering to the growing demand for eco-conscious products.”

In addition, PureGreen technology is utilized to produce Greenvit’s Purified Prebiotic Berry Extracts—tart cherry, elderberry, aronia, black currant, bilberry and blueberry. They are all that are maltodextrin- and silicone dioxide-free and are 100 percent water-soluble with no added sugars.

“Utilizing our Pure  Green technology, our unique berry juice powder extracts can claim clean label as there is also no corn or potato starch used in the process, nor are any chemicals or additives used,” noted Pietruszynski. “Instead, we use only FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration)-approved ingredients such as acacia gum.”

He added that both berry and herbal ingredients produced with PureGreen technology allow for more creative formulation flexibility. “Consumers are sold on supplements to improve their health and well-being but are seeking improved convenience and taste to provide more of a sensorial experience. PureGreen ingredients can help provide these attributes.”
