Over the past year, LifeSeasons and a team of medical professionals and industry leaders have been collecting clinical research summaries on 200-plus ingredients used in their 36 condition-specific formulas. The newly launched Ingredient Science Library combines years of medical expertise on various health conditions as well as published clinical research all in one platform.
The Science Library was a collaborative effort led by Founder and CEO of LifeSeasons, Darrin Peterson and Richard Mackillop, the current chief operating officer at LifeSeasons and the founder of two internet software businesses, OrderDog and SalesRep360. The Ingredient Science Library is one of the ways LifeSeasons is leading and contributing to the evolving future of integrative health care, according to the company.
“LifeSeasons was founded with the intent to help people live life to its fullest starting with good health, hence, the creation of LifeSeasons growing line of condition-specific supplements,” said Mackillop. “Our goal is to become a resource for health information to assist integrative practitioners and their patients with an easy to use, one-stop solution for a wide-range of information on health conditions, natural remedies and more.”
The database of research is compiled and reviewed by several parties including, integrative MDs, NDs, medical students, scientific content writers, nurse practitioners, master herbalists, and LifeSeasons on-staff researchers. Included in this group are Steven Williams, a former DuPont researcher who brings more than four years of experience in biotechnology R&D and three years of academic research experience, and Jamie Langston, RN, BSN, CCRP, and LifeSeasons chief research officer who brings more than 18 years of experience in the medical field.
“Each one of our researchers comes from different perspectives according to our own experience and knowledge base,” said Langston. “Whether the writer is a medical student thinking about tomorrow’s patient, an experienced practitioner or a researcher leaning on past experiences, our Ingredient Science Library is meant to support the consumer in helping them take control of their health concerns through trusted educational resources.”
LifeSeasons Ingredient Science Library was created for today’s time-sensitive visitor but also provides numerous detailed research findings, allowing for a deep dive into a specific health condition or ingredient. A practitioner can visit LifeSeasons.com and have instant access to the latest research, common causes, facts, statistics, and common pharmacological drug treatments, as well as natural remedies to help with a variety of health concerns.
“We are seeing more consumers turn to alternatives therapies and integrative practitioners for their specific health concerns due to the negative side effect of pharmaceutical drugs,” said Langston. “This library is one way we are addressing the changing dynamic of health care and becoming a resource for integrative practitioners.”
The Ingredient Science Library is updated continuously as new research is released and is currently available on LifeSeasons’ website.
